My step-by-step guide was developed as a way to support and empower youth + young adults all over the world, who have endured +survived adverse life experiences. This work supports a life of healing and thriving! No more survival mode.
The chapters in this workbook detail the strategies, resources, and topics in life that got me through the system, including group homes, foster care and the juvenile justice system, while dealing with and healing from trauma.
Having the opportunity to work with he same group home that I once resided in gave me the double sided prospective that gives this work the edge, compassion, and real life experience needed to be effective.
My goal for this project is to put the drivers seat back in the hands of our youth. They hold the keys endurance to begin the journey to healing, pursuing their dreams, and becoming the difference in the world they wish to see.
This workbook supports youth, families, foster parents, group homes and organizations that service abused, neglected, or juvenile justice-impacted individuals aged 13-24.
